Altar a San Benito.
Algunos monjes descontentos intentaron envenenar a San Benito ofreciéndole un pan con veneno. Al descubrir el peligro, el santo llamó a un cuervo que acostumbraba alimentarse cerca del monasterio y le ordenó que tomara el pan y lo llevara a un lugar donde nadie pudiera encontrarlo ni comerlo. El cuervo obedeció de inmediato, alejándose con el pan en el pico y evitando así una tragedia.
Altar to Saint Benedict.
Some disgruntled monks attempted to poison Saint Benedict by offering him a loaf of poisoned bread. Upon discovering the danger, the saint called a raven that regularly fed near the monastery and ordered it to take the bread to a place where no one could find it or eat it. The raven immediately obeyed, flying away with the bread in its beak and thus preventing a tragedy.
